A front door for MoveMEN!

Brian Henderson started MoveMEN! when he realised he had no guy friends he could turn to for emotional support. It is a circle for men in Hong Kong: movement, breath work, meditation and honest conversation about the things men rarely say out loud. Work, money, parenting, anger, feeling stuck.

A website for a men's circle has one hard job. Most men who need it have never been to anything like it, and the first step is the hardest. The page has to make that step feel safe before anyone books.

So it says the reassuring things early and plainly. Nobody has to share anything sensitive. No advice, fixing or performance. Pay what you can, no questions asked. A first session is a conversation. The values and the group's agreements are right there, so a man can see what kind of room he would be walking into.

How: I built it for Brian as a small, quiet Next.js site with one clear action, book a session, and his writing and press in one place. Every word and picture on it sits in a content management system, so Brian can change anything and keep it up to date himself, without asking anybody for help.
